JSC x JRFU Girls Rugby Clinic & Friendly Match in Thailand
Following the trial project last year in Bangkok, a friendly match and rugby clinic with Japanese coaches were held this year in Nan Province in northern Thailand for female rugby players from 14 schools in 6 prefectures in northern, northeast, central and southern Thailand. In addition, a rugby teacher training course for physical education teachers was held.
Through this event, players from different cultures and living conditions enjoyed rugby and deepened their friendship and mutual understanding. In addition, the physical education teachers were able to learn various activities that can be introduced to physical education classes.
In this second event following last year’s event in Bangkok, the Thai Rugby Union voluntarily administered events, planned resources, secured funding, and managed the tournament, taking advantage of the know-how acquired during last year’s trial project.
