【Myanmar】Japan Sports Showcase in Myanmar
JETRO held “Japan Sports Showcase” on 11 Oct. 2017 in Naypyidaw, Myanmar to exhibit sports/health related products, services and projects of Japan.
The event happened at the same time as the 1st ASEAN sports ministers meeting as Japan-Myanmar co-hosting event and featured particularly those sports industries which supports well-being and health improvements of all generations.
During the duration of 3 days, 300 people came to the event. An international contribution sports project “Sports For Tomorrow” and other initiatives run by sports related corporations and organization were introduced at the venue to the visitors.
After the Ministers’ Meeting, the event welcomed the ministers’ and deputy ministers’ of sports of ASEAN countries and Japan and those activities were PR-ed directly to those distinguished guests including Toshiei Mizuochi Vice Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (of Japan), Myint Htwe Minister of Health and Sports (of Myanmar), Kobkarn Minister of Tourism and Sports (of Thailand).
